Eat: Banapple Cakes and Pies

Happy Birthday Lola!

It's lola's birthday so we decided to lunch out. Where? That's the question. Then I said Banapple since we already had enough of Chinese last night (we ate at Mann Hann before watching I Am Number Four).

So as always, it's me and Lola who shares. I love sharing with Lola because she let me decide what to order, hihi!

So what we had for lunch is:


STARTER: Asian Sunshine Salad, 110.00. A dish bursting with flavors and textures: refreshing greens, cool cucumber sticks and crab sticks shreds, topped with sweet juicy mandarin oranges and crowned with crisp wonton skims and honey- sesame oil dressing


ENTREE: Savory Longanisa with Caramelized Onions, 140.00. Flavortful sausage slices stir fried in olive oil, crowned with caramelized onions; served with creamy parsley eggs


SANDWICH: Migs Gallabergher, 150.00. Juicy and herby all beef patty on mixed greens, topped with there special garlic-sour cream-barbecue sauce and lots of sliced onions, and blanketed by melted cheese and gooey mozzarella


PASTA: Penne Bolognese, 130.00. An aromatic meat sauce, blended with Italian herbs and spices, drizzled with luscious olive oil


CAKE: Jeepers Creepers Pie, Serving choices: Slice 100.00, Whole 770.00. Whipped cream and pie in heavy dark chocolate flavor with caramelized pecan on top.

Banapple is the place for good food, big appetite, and budget friendly :)

Lola really had a blast on her birthday! :)

I've been craving for Bananalocious Pie for like a month now. Because it's not available every time I visit Conti's Trinoma (boo hoo!).

Today is my lucky day because I was able to grab one of the last two remaining coveted pie, haha! Bananalocious is the new Mango Bravo! :p

Music: MBLAQ - BLAQstyle 'Cry'

MBLAQ, (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a quintet boy band from Sourth Korea created by Korean KPop and R&B singer, producer and actor Bi Rain under a branch of his label J.Tune Entertainment called J.Tune Camp. The five members include Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader), G.O (Jung Byung Hee : Main Vocalist), Joon (Lee Chang Sun : Vocalist), Thunder/Cheon Doong (Park Sang Hyun : Vocalist/Rapper), and Mir (Bang Cheol Yong : Rapper).

The group debuted on October 9, 2009 at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. The group then released their second single album Y on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, BLAQ Style. This video is from their latest album entitled, "Cry".

I’ll Be There by Taeyang Taeyang’s latest single I’ll Be There from his international album was released on various Korean Music portals (this song was released in English and Korean).

As always, Taeyang didn’t failed to amaze. A real good performer! Good voice, good dance moves (GREAT BODY!) :p

I really hope that someone here in the Philippines can do a cover for any of my Taeyang’s favorite songs: I’ll Be there, Wedding Dress or Where You At. Enjoy watching the video! :)

I heart TaeYang so much! Very talented - he can sing and dance well. Plus he has a good personality, what more can we ask for! :p


Some facts about him: Dong Young-bae (Hangul: 동영배, Hanja: 董永培, born May 18, 1988), better known by his stage name Taeyang (Hangul: 태양, Hanja: 太陽, meaning Solar) or Sol (the Spanish word for Sun), is a South Korean recording artist and entertainer. After appearing in Jinusean's music video "A-yo", Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12 alongside fellow member and leader G-Dragon. After six years of vocal and dance training he made his debut in 2006 as a member of Big Bang. In 2008, Taeyang released his debut mini-album Hot. Eat: Red Mango --- NEW FLAVOR!!!

Two hours before the movie, my boo and I were thinking of what to do (we are both done with dinner). I suggested to grab a macchiato and he said, "coffee again?". Then I asked him if he wants FroYo, he said, "GAME!". So there we went to my first love FroYo place --- RED MANGO! They have a new flavor so o tried it instead of getting the usual green tea with mandarin oranges. The new flavor is blueberry then I partnered it with the suggested strawberries and my personal pick red beans. My boo settled for the original flavor with blueberries.

Eat: Blushed by the Cupcakes

Blushing Cupcakes My friend and I went to club650 to do an ocular check of the venue for our office sportsfest. Coming from our night shift that is why we are super sleepy. Then we saw the window display of the cafe and we were enticed with the cute lovely cupcakes.

Love: VDay 2011 gifts

Since last Friday night I keep on thinking what to give my partner for VDay... Then I remembered that he is kinda narcissistic and loves looking at his pictures. So there, I made him a customized VDay card.

Eat: Pho Hoa (Vietnamese)

February 14, 2011 @19:00. Was originally planning to have yakimiku at Sambokojin but the place is full packed! So not to ruin the night me and my partner just transferred to Pho Hoa. I regularly eat there with friends during lunch breaks but off course last night was special since it's VDay with my boo. The place is good to fit any occasions. That night you'll see family having dinner, group of friends, old couples celebrating their 40th VDay together and two guys dating (that's me and my partner), haha! So we ordered:


Chicken and Spring rolls in rice, Big bowl of Seafoods noodles and Chicken wraps. Total: Php 765.00

It started with just a simple Hi... My friends asked me who are you and I said, just someone I met from wherever... I never thought we'll take each other seriously... Last Feb 10 we celebrated our first month together and now our first Valentine... I don't know what the future will bring us but I want you to know that I love you Mr. Dental Assistant... My Cooking: Fierce Tikoy

I was watching Charice's Valentine concert when I craved for something sweet. Checked the cabinet and saw some choco cookies --- not again :/ I opened the fridge and saw the Tikoy... Then I noticed we have lumpia wrappers. I remember a friend bringing Tikoy cooked in lumpia wrapper... So there :p Here it is:

Enjoying my new iPhone app, Radio Philippines. I know I'm kinda late to be using this app just now but it's just recently that I got found of listening to radio. I'm more into listening to my playlist but yeah now I'm into radio (playlist=songs are predicted vs radio=someone is doing some talk). Oh well, it's free but can only work over wifi...
