So finally was able to catch Les Miserables! Thanks to my friend @tamthegreat for immediately jumping into the plan :)

And so I earned the following stickers:





Yes I'm on GetGlue using the same user handle (too much for social network, I know :p)

I believe to many articles, blogs have been made available for this and most of those are super hyped and overrated...

For me the movie is good but not super good ;p

But I love Anne here, she gave all her acting and kudos to her.

So after the almost 3 hours movie, we felt a need to munch and where else if you are near West ave :p

My all time MK fave - Special Chicken Kebab!

Order the special (2 pcs) instead of the regular (1 pc). The difference is just like php20.00 :p

This place is memorable to me... Memories of college friends, friends from my first work, friends from high school, relatives and most specially my family... Mom is really a fan of Mediterranean food so she is 2 thumbs up for MK!

I rated my visit 4 because the pita bread that they serve me is cold... :(

First Time to meet Johnny ;)

This was my first time in JR and I'm glad I did (thanks to my boss for encouraging me to try)!

I was avoiding this resto because I'm getting not good feedback from some friends that the food is not good and it's a bit pricy...

But my experience is good!

The burger is love! Not dry but not oily... Perfectly done! I also love their potato wedges (which you can upgrade to unli refill just add php60.00).

The milkshakes are also good! They are using real strawberry (preserve though) and the texture is really smooth :)

CS is also great! The waiter is very accommodating and friendly.

I'll definitely go back here! :)

Saturday Birthday Dinner

Galileo Enoteca


I actually never thought that there's this Galileo in Eastwood until my friend invited me to attend his boyfriend's birthday dinner.



The food is okay, a bit pricy but my friend was able to hit my fave food in the bulls eye! They also have good wine selection.

The ambiance makes you feel you are inside an old Italian resto... Though they should improve on the lighting because it's too dark inside...



The customer service is great, attentive waiters and they serve with a smile but they should improve on maintaining the CR.

Overall, the place can be perfect if you want to avoid a crowdy place and if you want to make it as a venue for small gathering... They allowed us to bring in cakes and some dessert without corkage.

Bags: Aero Denim Frayed Tote

My cousins really know my taste when it comes to bags! I want it plain, simple but durable. The bag that my ate Jaiza gave me is nothing fancy but I love the design, the style and it's simplicity.




It's a denim tote that fits my everyday work thing! I was able to give room to my 15" T410 Thinkpad, chargers (yes chargers! For my thinkpad, iPhone and pocket wifi :D).

Life: Eat, Pray & Vacation - Visiting Iloilo, Bacolod and Guimaras!

The Kimi Dora Foundation visits Iloilo, Guimaras and Bacolod
It was planned June 2010. Thanks to Cebu pacific's Php 1.00 fare, hihi! @Steladiva and I did the booking, the rest is history...
Our group is trying to at least do one travel per year. This year is very special for me since it's my birthday gift for myself. It's supposed to be a birthday celebration trip or me and @iambrianbasti but he failed to join (again!) because of important matters in the office (he is the AVP for Operations kasi that is why very important siya sa office, as if :p).
The week before I made sure that I was able to have my haircut. I like it short during travels, hard to maintain and set hair specially if you are in an island :p
Our flight is at 4:15am, Monday so Prime invited me to sleep over her condo in California Square Garden. Both of us were really excited!
So I started packing Sunday afternoon... Some of my must bring every time I travel:



The night before Prime treated me for dinner as her birthday gift for me (ganun talaga kasi mas mayaman sa akin ang bestfriend ko :p). She asked me what I am craving for. Then I said, icebergs!!! We went to Metrowalk to dine and party a bit.

Life: My simple birthday celebration...

This is a super late post! Been busy! Had a long birthday vacation with friends checking Iloilo, Bacolod and Guimaras :) Off course after the vacation is payback time! Have to finish tons of backlogs in the office. :/

Eat: Banapple Cakes and Pies

Happy Birthday Lola!

It's lola's birthday so we decided to lunch out. Where? That's the question. Then I said Banapple since we already had enough of Chinese last night (we ate at Mann Hann before watching I Am Number Four).

So as always, it's me and Lola who shares. I love sharing with Lola because she let me decide what to order, hihi!

So what we had for lunch is:


STARTER: Asian Sunshine Salad, 110.00. A dish bursting with flavors and textures: refreshing greens, cool cucumber sticks and crab sticks shreds, topped with sweet juicy mandarin oranges and crowned with crisp wonton skims and honey- sesame oil dressing


ENTREE: Savory Longanisa with Caramelized Onions, 140.00. Flavortful sausage slices stir fried in olive oil, crowned with caramelized onions; served with creamy parsley eggs


SANDWICH: Migs Gallabergher, 150.00. Juicy and herby all beef patty on mixed greens, topped with there special garlic-sour cream-barbecue sauce and lots of sliced onions, and blanketed by melted cheese and gooey mozzarella


PASTA: Penne Bolognese, 130.00. An aromatic meat sauce, blended with Italian herbs and spices, drizzled with luscious olive oil


CAKE: Jeepers Creepers Pie, Serving choices: Slice 100.00, Whole 770.00. Whipped cream and pie in heavy dark chocolate flavor with caramelized pecan on top.

Banapple is the place for good food, big appetite, and budget friendly :)

MBLAQ, (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a quintet boy band from Sourth Korea created by Korean KPop and R&B singer, producer and actor Bi Rain under a branch of his label J.Tune Entertainment called J.Tune Camp. The five members include Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader), G.O (Jung Byung Hee : Main Vocalist), Joon (Lee Chang Sun : Vocalist), Thunder/Cheon Doong (Park Sang Hyun : Vocalist/Rapper), and Mir (Bang Cheol Yong : Rapper).

The group debuted on October 9, 2009 at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. The group then released their second single album Y on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, BLAQ Style. As always, Taeyang didn’t failed to amaze. A real good performer! Good voice, good dance moves (GREAT BODY!) :p

Some facts about him: Dong Young-bae (Hangul: 동영배, Hanja: 董永培, born May 18, 1988), better known by his stage name Taeyang (Hangul: 태양, Hanja: 太陽, meaning Solar) or Sol (the Spanish word for Sun), is a South Korean recording artist and entertainer. Eat: Red Mango --- NEW FLAVOR!!!

Two hours before the movie, my boo and I were thinking of what to do (we are both done with dinner). I suggested to grab a macchiato and he said, "coffee again?". Then I asked him if he wants FroYo, he said, "GAME!". So there we went to my first love FroYo place --- RED MANGO! They have a new flavor so o tried it instead of getting the usual green tea with mandarin oranges. The new flavor is blueberry then I partnered it with the suggested strawberries and my personal pick red beans. My boo settled for the original flavor with blueberries.

Eat: Blushed by the Cupcakes

Blushing Cupcakes My friend and I went to club650 to do an ocular check of the venue for our office sportsfest. Coming from our night shift that is why we are super sleepy. Then we saw the window display of the cafe and we were enticed with the cute lovely cupcakes.
